Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge, known as The Bridge, is the home to all Chelsea fans. Holding around 40,000 people, it is the 8th largest stadium in the Barclays Premier League. With a near 100% sold out ratio each home game, Chelsea make a lot of return to pay off their massive salary. Located in Fulham, London, it has been around as Chelsea's stadium for nearly 40 years. Despite only being their stadium for 40 years, Stamford Bridge was opened on 1876, making it older than Old Trafford. Being the centre of the Chelsea campaign, it is a proud home for the Chelsea fans. Current manager Jose Mourinho has an impossible record there. Being unbeaten at Stamford Bridge for 66 games, Mourinho feat is legendary. This home is sure to be a fortress of the Premier League

Chelsea fanbase is not what is expected. Despite the fact they have never been the complete european dominance club they still control a large portion of the football fans worldwide. Being the the 4th top shirt selling club in the world, chelsea do make much money off the fans. Adding to this, Chelsea stadium is now the icon for many chelsea fans. Being sold out nearly every game, it is clear that chelsea could raise the price by 20% and it would not make much difference. It shows that chelsea fans, whilst they may not have one icon in particular, are devoted to the club. This is an important aspect in being a 'good' club.
