What makes a good football team? Dec. 2013 | Page 38

The last season bought for Chelsea, 2012-2013, brought a range of different players to Chelsea. Despite spending £85 million pounds, only two players bought have been benefitial to Chelsea. Oscar and Hazard, both bought for around £30 million pounds, have excelled in Premier League. Being first team players, they have won Chelsea many matches and have brought their own class to the team. Other players, such as Victor Moses, have not been very good. Incosistent, they have failed to work to Chelsea's style. The players sold, Daniel Sturridge and Raul Meirelles, were sold for decent amounts. However, with Chelsea in a striker crisis, it may have been better to keep hold of him. He has been very good for Liverpool so far, scoring more goals than Chelsea's strikers. Very good season for Chelsea.
