I'll read the name of a group and I'd like you to rate your feelings to that group between 0 and 100 using something we call the feeling thermometer. Ratings between 50 degrees and 100 degrees mean that you feel favourable and warm toward the group. Ratings between 0 degrees and 50 degrees mean that you don't feel favourable and don't care too much for that group. You would rate the group at the 50 degree mark if you don't feel particularly warm or cold toward the group. Feel free to use the entire extent of the scale. - Catholic people Base: All respondents Gender Total Male (a) Female (b) Age 18-24 (d) 117* 25-34 (e) 35-44 (f) Class 45-54 (g) Weighted base 1008 491 517 175 165 180 Mean 64.78 63.66 65.84 60.54 64.82 64.56 62.68 Standard deviation Standard error 26.05 0.82 25.91 1.14 26.16 1.18 27.97 3.03 26.06 2.11 26.88 2.08 26.55 1.96 55-64 (h) 145 65+ (i) AB (j) C1 (k) Region C2 (l) DE (m) Scotland (n) Prepared for Channel 4 and Juniper by ICM 86* 91* East Midlands (s) 75* Wales (t) 51* Eastern (u) 98* London (v) 133 South East (w) 141 South West (x) 226 271 271 220 246 67.60l 64.68 63.15 63.23 70.45R sUvX 72.16R sUvX 65.53 64.26 62.19 62.88 67.95u 60.11 63.22 67.22u 61.14 24.26 1.93 24.89 1.53 25.30 1.25 26.01 1.83 25.47 2.03 27.29 1.78 26.46 2.74 27.67 4.32 27.99 2.73 28.19 2.94 23.51 2.43 25.61 3.06 21.02 2.89 26.74 2.69 26.08 2.24 25.82 2.23 24.01 2.52 Proportions/Means: Columns Tested (5%, 10% risk level) - a/b - c/d/e/f/g/h/i - j/k/l/m - n/o/p/q/r/s/t/u/v/w/x/y Overlap formulae used. * small base; ** very small base (under 30) ineligible for sig testing 116* West Midlands (r) 66.22 m 42* North West (p) 68.74D G 88* North East (o) Yorkshire & Humberside (q) 89*
