All Girls
Sports Festival
An extremely excited group of girls arrived at the Cape Town International Airport to fly to Port Elizabeth for the fourth annual All Girls’ Sports Festival in Grahamstown hosted by DSG( Diocesan School for Girls).
The touring team consisted of the U13A water-polo, netball and hockey teams, coaches and managers Mr J. Abrahamse, Miss J. Bassett, Mrs V. Lingeveldt, Mrs M. Martin, Mr R. Pillay and Mrs L. Dormehl.
They were also joined by Mrs D. Cawcutt and Mrs C. Thompson and numerous Wynberg families who supported our teams in Grahamstown – it was good to have them there.
The girls enjoyed a picnic lunch on Pollock Beach and a swim in the sea before being hosted by Collegiate Junior School families. This was a wonderful experience for our players who were spoilt with friendly Eastern Cape hospitality.
