Grade 6
Camp 2016
Grade 6 camp was an amazing experience. We all went to Rocklands in Simon’ s Town. When we arrived we were dying to see our new cabins. Each cabin was named after a plant. The view was pretty awesome especially if you stayed in the cabin Erica. We saw trampolines and an outdoor pool on our way to forming teams and coming up with a team theme song. The food was delicious and I appreciated all the hard work of the ladies in the kitchen. On the second day we went on a long walk to the beach. We got to swim and had a mermaid, sand castle designing competition. My team( Jaguars) won the competition. On the last night our teams performed plays demonstrating what we had learnt on camp. I enjoyed the experience of working as a team with my fellow classmates. Here are some comments from the Grade 6s:

On the last day the Grade 6s were sad to say goodbye to the Rocklands Camp. On the way home we visited the Just Nuisance museum and heard the story of this remarkable dog. We got to school tired and headed straight home. Our families had missed us so much. Grade 6 camp was the best one ever!
