Mr Richard Brown
Report from the Chair
Looking back over the several years I have been involved as a member of the SGB, I can reflect on how much the school and the campus have developed.
Very soon we will be able to invite parents to the opening of the re-developed Foundation Phase area where the Junior Aftercare is currently located.
This follows hot on the heels of our mini astro, the redevelopment of the Rose Garden, the Senior Aftercare and the Aquatic Centre. Whilst the completion of these projects is commendable, the biggest and most impressive changes have been in the continuing academic improvement across all grades.
None of this would have been possible without our motivated and supportive staff. For this, on behalf of the SGB, I thank you.
The school is well run. The Department is happy with our management. Most importantly, you, the parents and wider school community are by and large happy with the management of the school. I thank Mrs Cawcutt and her leadership team.
The finances under Mrs Yardin are under control and we continue to grow from strength to strength.
The greatest resource of the school is of course our dedicated parents who unfailingly continue to support the school, not only in fundraising, but also in paying fees, attending meetings and assisting wherever there is a need. In addition the promotion of the values is often reflected in the positive feedback I receive from parents not at our school. For this, the biggest thank you must go to you. Please keep up the support.
To my SGB colleagues, both elected and co-opted, I thank you for your willingness to participate and share your time, expertise, skills, knowledge and experience.
Lastly to our girls, may you continue to grow from strength to strength. Enjoy the facilities which have come with much sacrifice.
Mr Richard Brown
