Culture Day
During Term 3 the girls “travelled” to various countries
throughout the world. They learnt which continent the
country was on, languages they spoke there, what its
flag looked like, what religions were predominant and
its currency used to mention but a few.
Towards the end of the term a cultural day was held
where the girls were encouraged to learn about a different
culture explored in class and come to school dressed
up in its traditional dress. They shared their new found
knowledge as well as traditional food with each other.
Their general knowledge was increased in a fun and
informative way.

Green Point Outing
For our Term 2 outing, we went to Green Point Park.
A lot of thought and preparation went into this jam
packed and exciting outing. During the outing the girls
had to use their skills and knowledge from all their
subjects, which included Geography – map orientation.
They were given a map, clues, QR codes and iPads.
Teams then ran around the park trying to
complete all the fun activities
