This year, our class mascot, Yeti, taught us that
we can all achieve our goals and be successful.
Developing a Growth Mindset is learning to
grow your brain power, to keep trying hard and
to persevere until you’ve achieved your goal.
Being resilient is necessary to continually learn
from your mistakes and view them as the
stepping stones to achieving your goal.
In Term 1, each learner’s efforts were rewarded
with “seeds” (silver dot stickers) for their paper
plant pot. From there they grew leaves, until
finally blooming beautiful Growth Mindset
flowers in the 4th term.
Yeti had many adventures with the girls and their
families, as he developed his Growth Mindset
this year. He has been on outings, music and
sports tours too!
We are excited to continue our learning in
all areas of our education in 2019. Having a
positive Growth Mindset gives us the assurance
that even greater things are YET to come.
