We are always learning about various disciplines such as art, literature, music, cinema, science and technology, politics and sport. This year we had our biggest GK squad in our school’s history! We might not be the best in the district (we are coming for you Herzlia!) but we sure do have the greatest time at the GK inter-school events. We looked forward to our Tuesdays because we broadened our knowledge week by week out, and friendly competition made it all the more fun! Sua Sung and Leah Tarentaal made sure that we were motivated and pumped up with Wynberg spirit. For us, being a part of the GK club is greater than participating in contests. We are constantly equipping ourselves with tools that will help us make a success of ourselves in the future… we can join in conversations about water conservation and President Cyril Ramaphosa! Therefore, we are so grateful for our Head of GK, Miss Jaipal, who made sure we learnt about all things wild and wonderful. She always encouraged us to ask questions and to read everyday. “Curiosity is the quality that urges a child to keep on f inding out more, to connect actions with outcomes, people with feelings” Miss Shakeelah Jaipal Front: Rania Gosain, Salma Khan, Ms Tarryn Witney, Sua Sung, Hanan Salasa, Yusrah Rustin
