networking its about perspective. In an industry that can often operate in silos, WPAcreates space for real conversations about challenges, strategy and where we’re headed.

That kind of access to different viewpoints makes you better at your job; it sharpens how you think, how you approach customers, and how you solve problems. That mission shows up in the relationships it builds. WPA creates opportunities for members to learn from one another and grow together. It’s not just about staying informed; it’s about being part of a community that is actively working to strengthen and advance the industry.

As a new committee member, I’m looking forward to supporting that mission more

network, building meaningful connections, and contributing in any wany I can to help move the organization forward.

3. What are some of the key challenges you have faced in the pallet industry? How has the WPA helped you navigate them?

4. From your perspective, what are the emerging opportunities or challenges for the pallet industry?

One of the biggest opportunities for the pallet industry is continuing to elevate the role pallets play in the broader supply chain. Pallets are often behind the scenes, but they’re critical to how companies operate, scale, and serve their customers.

Sustainability, supply chain resilience, and strategic pallet management continue to gain importance. As companies evaluate cost, risk, service, and environmental impact more closely, the industry has an opportunity to show that pallets are not just a commodity. They are a critical part of operations and can have advanced systems in place to support sustainable consumption.

The challenge is telling that story clearly and consistently.

The companies that treat pallet management strategically and not transactionally are the ones that will win long term.

5. What advice would you give to new members of the WPA to maximize the benefits of their membership?

Raise your hand, join a committee, attend Master Learning Groups, and start conversations. The more you engage, the more value you gain, both professionally and personally.

WPA is one of those organizations where what you put in directly impacts what you get out.
