for customers or for those that are new to the pallet industry.
“We're proud to say that we're ready to take the next step to ensure that the WPA can continue to grow and position itself as a leading wood pallet and container association,” stated Steve Mazza, incoming WPA President. “We value your input and feedback and encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have. One of our top priority as a trade association is to grow our membership and foster a sense of community among our members. Like Ralph said, we are the friendliest association.
“We believe that by coming together and sharing our experiences and our knowledge, both here in person and through learning experiences like the master learning groups, and webinars, we can all benefit and grow as professionals in our field. To this end, we'll be presenting new strategies to engage and attract new members of the growing group.
"We encourage you to help spread the message among each other in your business, communities and local media platforms, social media platforms, and messages.”
Mazza ended his address by speaking to younger members. “This is the best thing you're going to do for your business and for your personal development in business. Get involved, don't be afraid to speak up. Talk to the guy standing next to you, talk to whoever's standing at the bar. You have something in common, you are all in the pallet business. Be active in this community, get involved, and it will help you succeed.”
