Specializing in PCR Testing
After decades of work in laboratory and health care industries , Steve and Mary Collins launched QLabs , Inc ., a clinical reference laboratory based in Charleston , WV , specializing in medical diagnostic testing .
QLabs offers a unique blend of cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise with an absolute commitment to superior customer service , not typically found in the lab industry . Whether provider or patient , clients can expect a higher level of service to accompany groundbreaking technology and innovation .
QLabs offers a multitude of lab services , with one specialization being PCR testing , a method familiar to many from the COVID-19 pandemic .
“ Most people think that PCR testing is exclusive to COVID , but there are a tremendous number of implications for this technology . We were doing PCR long before the pandemic and had already perfected this testing ,” says Mary . “ We offer platforms for GI , urinary , sexual health , wound , dermatology and nail .”
QLabs is unveiling its dermatopathology division in February 2023 and has recently opened its Patient Care Center , which provides an extension of its superior customer service directly to the patient .
