World-Class Care
On the national stage—particularly during an
election year—health care is a hot topic.
From conversations on how to best reform and
streamline health care and health insurance to the
growing prevalence of telemedicine to increasing
access to clinical trials and alternative treatments,
it is a universal topic that affects everyone.
West Virginia’s population is no stranger to a
variety of health issues. Fortunately, citizens of
the Mountain State have access to an array of
services, doctors, hospitals and other facilities and
care providers both inside and outside the state.
After receiving countless nominations for its
inaugural West Virginia Health Care Hall of Fame
highlighting the state’s talented and compassionate
health care community and the organizations
they work for, West Virginia Executive decided
to create a special advertising section to showcase
the ways in which these people and institutions
go above and beyond to treat health challenges
and promote healthy living in the Mountain
State, whether that is through state-of-the-art
facilities, ground-breaking procedures or top-tier
service. The health care providers represented in
Health Care 2020 are demonstrating innovative
solutions to today’s most pressing health issues
and offering compassionate, holistic, world-class
care to West Virginians in even the most remote
areas of the state.
