Sheehy succeeds Fawcett, who is retiring after more than 35 years of distinguished service and leadership. Fawcett had served as Highmark West Virginia segment president since 2016 and previously held other key leadership positions in national, small group, strategic markets and Medicaid. He was also instrumental in creating the Highmark West Virginia Charitable Fund for Health, which is dedicated to improving the health, well-being and quality of life of all West Virginians.
