“ Hope Lives Here ” at WVU Medicine Children ’ s
experience and expertise are always here to support women and children with serious conditions through the Birthing Center , Heart Center , Blood Disorders and Cancer Center , Neuroscience Center , Critical Care and Trauma Center , and many other medical disciplines .
From before a child is born to as far as adulthood , WVU Medicine Children ’ s is creating a legacy of compassion . With community support , we ensure that all kids have access to world-class doctors and staff who will be with them every step of the way .
Because of donations from the community , WVU Medicine Children ’ s has grown into a network of hospitals and clinics across the state . By bringing world-class care close to home , women and children don ’ t have to travel hours to see a doctor . They can use telemedicine to connect with a doctor quickly , visit clinics in an emergency , and be transported to Morgantown for more advanced care .
None of this can happen without the support of donors through the WVU Foundation . When WVU Medicine Children ’ s officially opened the doors to its freestanding hospital in 2022 , it was nicknamed “ Hope ’ s New Home .” Now , as patients walk through the doors , we reassure them that “ Hope Lives Here .” It ’ s the
responsibility of our providers , staff , and community to make sure that hope stays here , providing a haven for healing and a brighter future for all the children in our care .
Together , we can continue to build a brighter , healthier future for the children of West Virginia .
WVU Medicine Children ’ s is committed to fostering hope and healing in every child who comes through its doors , ensuring that they receive the best care possible close to home .
