13. I have looked at the John E. Amos Power Plant my entire life, but I never thought of it as beautiful until I got to look at it from a different perspective through my camera lens. 13 14. Not only did we get to try some of the finest cuisine in West Virginia at Café Cimino, but the owners are the sweetest couple. When I run into them, they still remember me. 14 16 15. While this may look like a studio shot of six energy industry workers, it is actually two separate shots of men who live and work hundreds of miles apart carefully composited together. It required a lot of planning and vision, but it really panned out. 16. You can’t beat the opportunity to shoot West Virginia sports legend Amos Zereoué in New York surrounded by amazing food. 15 17. I thoroughly enjoyed being in my element and putting Kensie and Samantha Ricketts on edge on the New River Gorge Bridge catwalk during this Young Guns photoshoot. 17 18. You know it’s going to be a good day when a chef suggests using mirrors, dry ice and sparklers. We used all three as props during this photoshoot at the Historic McFarland House in Martinsburg. 18 19 20 19. I love meeting West Virginia business owners— especially when they are in the spirit business. This photoshoot at Bloomery Plantation Distillery ended with a tasting! 20. I love this photo because it showcases the best of West Virginia’s tourism activities. WWW.WVEXECUTIVE.COM SUMMER 2018 43
