He is also a member of the medical staff at Berkeley Medical Center, where he will provide in-patient neurological consultations. Anand completed his neurological residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he was chief resident his final year. He is a medical school graduate of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in India. In addition to caring for neurological patients, Anand is an assistant professor for the West Virginia University School of Medicine and will help teach medical students and residents in the Eastern Panhandle. Highmark Foundation Awards More Than $338,000 to Schools Across West Virginia and Pennsylvania The Highmark Foundation is awarding a total of $338,363 in grants to 65 schools across West Virginia and Pennsylva- nia in an effort to make schools healthier places for students. The Highmark Foundation’s Building Sustainable and Lasting Changes in Schools grants are part of its Creating a Healthy School Environment Grant and Awards program, which helps schools address specific areas of student health. The grants are awarded to schools that serve children in grades K-12, and they support evidence-based programs that address one of four priority areas: bullying prevention, child injury prevention, healthy eating and physical activity and environmental health. Since 2013, the Highmark Foundation has awarded nearly $1.9 million through the Creating a Healthy School Environ- ment program to 349 schools in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University with a major in inter- national politics and a minor in Japanese language. Hannold also received his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in psychology, and he earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA. Wade has joined the Bowles Rice office in Morgantown, WV. He is a 2008 graduate of the DePaul University College of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from WVU.
