Doss Enterprises , founded in 1995 , is a premier excavation and site development contractor in Jane Lew , WV , with roughly 200 employees comprised of both men and women and a fleet of over 200 major pieces of construction equipment and attachments .
“ I started Doss Enterprises because I had the need to support my family and other individuals within our surrounding counties that needed solid and consistent employment ,” says Dwaine Doss , company CEO and manager . “ First and foremost , I give all the glory to God . By putting Him first in all we do , it holds us accountable and forces us to work better and harder at everything we do to please Him . I ’ ve put in countless hours and years to evolve to where we are — and plenty of prayer along the way — but I try to surround myself with good people , solid employees who love to come to work and love to do what they do .”
With safety and integrity as top priorities , Doss focuses on hiring competent employees and building crucial work relationships .

As a way to meet the increasing demands of the industry , Doss has built a comprehensive network of suppliers and vendors to establish the company ’ s presence within the industry and further enhance its reputation .
“ When we network , we build relationships and become almost family to the people we work with ,” Doss says . “ We love to work with people . With all the companies we have going , we typically have around 180-200 people employed and working full time , which is a lot of families being fed , a lot of health care being provided and a lot of West Virginians and surrounding residents being taken care of and positively influenced . We take pride in knowing we can safely work so many men and women and have them provide their families with a fruitful life outside of the office .”
Another major step for the company ’ s growth was through the creation of WillQuip Industries .
“ The idea for WillQuip came about in 2014 but started coming to life in the summer
