and practical so that results can be sustained long-term . In 2021 alone , more than 4,000 hours were spent on client projects and product development , and nearly 1,800 people were trained . WVUIE showed an 85 % conversion rate of proposals to projects . Nearly 70 % of customers reported one of the most important factors for choosing them was the expertise of the staff . Other significant factors in hiring WVUIE was their ability to provide fair and unbiased advice and services as well as a strong reputation for providing results .
Projects completed by WVUIE are surveyed through an independent third-party firm that is managed by the Federal Department of Commerce . The impacts from project work are used to determine the success of the MEP program overall and to compare impacts across the national network . These surveys are critical to ensuring that the funding provided to the national network is used to create positive changes in manufacturing . WVUIE focuses on the aspects of projects that can improve and retain sales , identify new markets through innovative products and services and identify opportunities to streamline processes to save costs .

“ Completing a project with a small manufacturer is not the goal of WVUIE . Instead , we strive to demonstrate impactful results while creating relationships with lasting impressions ,” said Staci Miller , WVUIE director .
