Program gives student-athletes a deep dive into material science and innovation. Their experience includes a tour of our plant, safety demonstrations and even travel to our Lemgo, Germany facility for a global perspective on polyurethane technology.
At STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA, we’ re passionate about more than just highperformance products— we’ re committed to building strong communities and inspiring the next generation of innovators, makers and problem-solvers.
Our educational outreach connects students with real-world opportunities in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing. One example is our involvement in the Explore the New Manufacturing Middle School Academy in North Central West Virginia— a hands-on workshop that introduces middle school students to manufacturing careers through engaging activities and discussions.
We also support students pursuing further education by contributing annually to the Harrison County Student Achievement Scholarship, helping local high school seniors access college or technical training.
Beyond the classroom, we sponsored a hog for the South Harrison High School Baseball Team Hog Raffle— a fun, community-driven fundraiser that supports student athletics and reinforces values like teamwork and school pride.
We regularly participate in career events such as the Upshur County and Lewis County High School Career Pathway Fairs, where students learn about STOCKMEIER and potential career paths in manufacturing.

Employees have also participated in the Pierpont Manufacturing Summer Camp, serving on a career panel for middle and high school students exploring manufacturing careers.
We proudly sponsor the Carl Hopkins WV Youth Aviation Expo, introducing students to opportunities in aerospace and aviation, and support the HOBY West Virginia Youth Leadership Seminar at Fairmont State University, helping cover key program needs for this transformative leadership experience.
