This agreement creates an additional entry point for students who want to expand on their career and professional training and complete a master ’ s degree .”
WVWC offers graduate programs in nursing with various pathways and points of entrance . Currently , students can choose between MSN programs with specializations in nursing leadership or the family nurse practitioner . The school also offers psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwifery options in collaboration with Shenandoah University . For the past two years , the college has offered an RN to MSN program , which allows nurses with an associate degree in nursing to complete bridge course work and then directly enroll into the MSN program .
Coursework for the graduate programs in the WVWC ’ s School of Nursing is offered in a hybrid format that includes online , asynchronous and limited on campus residency experiences .

Steptoe & Johnson Adds Established Labor and Employment Duo to Charleston , Morgantown Offices
Ronda Harvey and Ashley Hardesty Odell have recently joined the Charleston and Morgantown offices of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC . Harvey joins the firm ’ s labor and employment department in Charleston while Odell joins the labor and employment department in Morgantown . Both bring robust experience in advising , representing and defending national , regional and local employers in a variety of workplace issues .

They are seasoned litigators , with national experience in big cases , and they have decades of experience advising employers and defending them in employment cases . Harvey represents Fortune 500 companies and has served as lead trial counsel in over 200 deliberate intent lawsuits in West Virginia . She currently serves as a national litigation counsel for a major grocery store and pharmacy chain and was appointed a member of the National Pharmacy
Committee — a group of attorneys representing the country ’ s largest pharmacies in the nationwide multidistrict litigation on opioids . Harvey is a trusted advisor to employers on labor and employment law issues and has experience representing defendants in mass tort and complex products liability civil actions .
Odell has more than 20 years of experience handling labor and employment issues for employers and , with Harvey , serves as co-national litigation counsel for a major grocery store and pharmacy chain . Her clients turn to her for her efficient case management in complex employment litigation involving many issues , including workplace discrimination and harassment , wage and hour claims , employee handbook claims and workplace safety . In addition to her practice area focuses , she continues to manage other litigation matters involving business disputes , commercial collections , construction litigation , property damage and personal injury defense .
Harvey and Odell earned their bachelor ’ s degrees from West Virginia University and law degrees from the West Virginia University College of Law .

2024 McKinley Architecture and Engineering Continues to Expand and Receive National Recognitions
McKinley Architecture and Engineering continues to expand and has increased its employee size by 40 % in the last two years .
Due to growth in its Pennsylvania location alone , the company moved to a new office in Mars , PA , where its 24 employees now have the space to work individually or collaborate with team members . To amplify West Virginia , the company opened a new office in Middlebourne . This totals five offices located in Wheeling , Charleston , Martinsburg and Middlebourne , WV , as well as Mars , PA .
