Cabell Huntington Hospital Earns Gold Seal ACR Reaccreditations
Cabell Huntington Hospital , a member of Marshall Health Network , has been awarded a three-year term of gold seal accreditation in nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography ( PET ) as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology .
PET , also called PET imaging or a PET scan , is a type of nuclear medicine imaging . Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases , including many types of cancers , heart disease and certain abnormalities within the body .
“ Receiving these designations is a testament to our commitment to providing the highest standard of care for our patients ,” says Tim Martin , chief operating officer . “ This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team , which continuously strives for excellence in medical imaging and patient safety .”
DLA + Architecture and Interior Design Opens Morgantown Office
In a strategic move to expand services and deepen its commitment to the region , DLA + Architecture and Interior Design has opened an office in Morgantown , WV . The new location will serve as a hub for the firm ’ s growing portfolio and catalyst for further growth in North Central West Virginia and the Northern Panhandle .
DLA + is headquartered in Pittsburgh , PA , where it has experienced continued growth and recognition as a design leader . Morgantown is the third location for the firm , which also operates an office in State College , PA .
The West Virginia office is a natural progression in DLA +’ s ongoing efforts to support and transform higher education , sports , health care and commercial / corporate environments in the state ’ s northern regions .
