Doddridge County ’ s Early Learning Academy Inspires Young Minds
Tucked away in the picturesque hills of Doddridge County lies a school that is truly paving the way for the face of K-12 education in the Mountain State . While many may immediately think of the state-of-the-art , collegiate caliber athletic facilities that span the campus of Doddridge County High School , the newest facility for the county belongs to the smallest bulldogs in the pack .
The brand-new Early Learning Academy opened its doors in the fall of 2022 and has quickly garnered major accolades for its modern design and inclusive offerings . The school is unique for many reasons , one of which being its inhabitants themselves . Though others thought it couldn ’ t be done ,
Doddridge County leaned into the idea that bringing kindergarten , pre-K and its three-year-old program together under one roof would offer an innovative and unique way to inspire rapid development amongst its youngest students . Proven thus far , the county couldn ’ t be more correct in that thinking . After the first group of students entered the building , the collaboration and growth between them was immediately clear .
