GUIDE TO YEAR GROUP
Wellington College will place pupils in the correct year group by age (unless there are exceptional circumstances). Pupils entering Wellington
from schools following a different academic year, most likely January to November, will normally be required to repeat part of the given year
group. If consideration is requested to waive this requirement, the Admissions Committee will base its decision on a wide range of factors;
these include the results of the admissions assessments, the pupil’s age, social maturity and general proficiency in English.
