WELCOME GUIDE 2015
Students Supporting
Students
At Keele we stick together. Our students are our community and you are going to be a
part of that. What is really cool is the way in which our students support one another.
Whether that’s as a mentor, as somebody to listen when things are tough or making sure
that somebody get homes safely, our students do support best: check out these examples
as well as use them, think about joining them when you are settled as a true Keelite!
Keele Mentors
Coming to University is a life changing
experience. Even if you feel relatively
comfortable about starting at Keele, you still
might want a point of contact and someone who
you can ask questions before you arrive. Your
Mentor will be someone who is studying your
course and knows what you are going through.
This is a great chance to find out more about
studying at Keele from someone who has
experienced it themselves. They will help to
share with you their tips to get the best out of
your time at Keele, what to get involved in and
where to go both on and off campus.
Your Mentor will contact you by email before you
arrive at Keele so you can ask them any questions
you have – no question is too big or too small!
