EPTAPYRGIO( EPTA = SEVEN + PYRGOS = BASTION)

A byzantine fortress built on the highest point in the city. It took its name from its seven towers.
Aha! Like the Citadel of
قلعة حلب Aleppo
In the 19 th century, more buildings were added and the fortress was used as prison. On weekdays you can visit the site and the exhibition held in one of the most recent buildings.
