Breakfast like a princess … 47 and enjoy them to the fullest without feeling guilty. Instead of treating forbidden foods like a mistress in a sordid, clandestine affair, we need to love them more openly and take them into our hearts. Forbidding food, as with sex, makes it more attractive The second reason for eating forbidden foods as part of our daily eating lifestyle is that we will eat less of them if we know we can have them. Nothing increases our desire for something more than not being allowed to have it. In my work with couples as a relationship therapist, I often see men who tell me they would like to have sex every day. Their partner is only interested in it once a week or less. For these reasons, I forbid my clients to forbid the eating of certain foods! When we know we can have some chocolate if we really want to, it is much easier not to have it when the opportunity arises. So, by having breakfast, a high sacrifice food for morning tea and a good size lunch we have dealt with Starvation and Deprivation. As it
