• When in a hurry I will have a meal replacement soup / shake( need to carry them with me).
• Buy an apple muffin and water next time.
• Allow time to find better food. Chose a place to eat with a limited menu( of mostly fattening food).
• Start planning where I will eat earlier in day.
• Next time will ask if the Chef can modify some of the meals.
• Avoid buffets in future. Ate with friends who eat and drink up big time.
• Meet just for coffee next time.
• Discuss my weight loss strategy with them first up & ask if they will support me.
• Other meals of the day will be very light. Craved something sweet and had nothing else in house.
• Ensure that pantry is full of low GL, low fat alternatives.
• Carry gum with me for these times.
• Schedule eating my high sacrifice foods for morning tea to reduce cravings. Drank too much alcohol and then ordered white chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
• Manage alcohol more carefully – at least decide each course before drinking too much.
• Look at dessert menu at outset and just order one course beforehand.
