Dumbbell Leg Curl
What to do:
Lay face down on a sit up machine with your head on the incline as shown. Grab onto the side of the bench or the handle grip. Have a partner strap a dumbbell to your feet as shown. Point you toes and slowly extend the legs bringing the dumbbell down with them. Bring the dumbbell back up only to the point that you can feel constant tension in your hamstring muscles. This exercise can be done alone without having the dumbbell strapped to your feet but it is a bit more difficult to balance the weight. We prefer the strap so you donʼt have to worry about balancing the weight and can concentrate on working the hamstrings.

Don’ t Forget to:
Keep the toes pointed as you come down or the dumbbell will be harder to keep on your feet.
