REAL WEDDING whenever I see it. I also loved our highlights film from our videographer. It’ s the most perfect seven minute video capturing the best day of our lives and I can easily watch it anywhere, whenever I like.
‘ The mishaps made the day more memorable’
What’ s a wedding without a couple of mishaps? Alex forgot to bring sandbags to weigh down our seating chart, which ended up tipping over! We’ d made shelves for individual shot bottles with guests’ names and table numbers, so it could have been a disaster, but luckily nothing broke.
We also had a string quartet playing for the bridesmaids’ entrance and mine, but we couldn’ t hear the music properly from around the corner. I suddenly heard the part I was meant to walk in on while we still had two bridesmaids left! We realised the song was about to finish, so they ended up speed walking down the aisle, which definitely gave us a bit of a laugh. Those little moments didn’ t take away from anything and actually made it even more memorable.
