REAL WEDDING
Colour Scheme: Sage Green Vibe: Relaxed, Informal & Fun
Vicky and Alex’ s big day was all about fun-filled celebrations with family and friends.
‘ We wanted a manor house, but we fell in love with a barn’
I had always imagined getting married in a grand manor house with a sweeping staircase, and we had visited a couple that I’ d been so excited about. However, when we actually saw them in person, I felt surprisingly deflated, there just wasn’ t that spark or sense of excitement I’ d been hoping for. So when we went to visit Winters Barns, we kept an open mind, even though it was completely different from what we originally envisioned. As soon as we stepped into the barn, Alex and I looked at each other and just said,“ wow”. Instantly, we both felt this spark, an overwhelming sense of excitement and a feeling that this could truly be it.
‘ Our dog Bertie was the star of the show!’
We had our gorgeous fur baby Bertie as our ring bearer. He was amazing- Alex had him involved in our engagement so it only felt right for him to be involved in the wedding too! We used Here Comes the Hound who were Bertie’ s dog chaperones and they had him there to greet guests, to unclip the lead for the ring bearer moment and were on hand for those photographs. Bertie was definitely the star of the show that day!
‘ Booking the magician was one of the best decisions we made’
We had a magician for after the ceremony and wedding breakfast and all I can say is WOW! One of the best things we did was booking Spencer Wood Magic! He is such a vibe.
‘ The photos were just perfection’
Our photographer was Tommy Reynolds and then we had Aidan Willis as our videographer. They worked so well together to capture the best moments of the day. My favourite photo is one of me, Alex and Bertie standing in front of the famous Winters Barns door standing looking at the camera. It’ s perfection and fills me with such warmth and happiness
