Hi all
Just to let you know Holly ' s loving life ! She loves to run and play with her big brother Sam and we ' ve now run a couple of canicross races . We ' ll never come first ( my fault not Holly ' s ) but she loves it !
Thanks again for letting her become part of our family .

Hi ,
An update on your former guest Cai who we adopted 3 years ago . He hasn ' t been the easiest dog to live with , but is very much loved .
In his first two weeks he chewed through two leads while sitting at my feet under a table . He was very uncomfortable being touched anywhere other than his head . Initially he was conflicted when seeking attention and would paw you and then bare his teeth or snap when the attention was received , only to repeat the pawing . It took about 6 months for this to stop , and another 6 months before he was comfortable with his paws being handled briefly , and has become more relaxed since . He isn ' t keen on other dogs and will stalk them in classic collie herding manner which they understandably find disconcerting .
Having said that , he is a playful , friendly and happy dog who will curl up beside you at night . He is very enthusiastic training with treats and sniffing out hidden treats and learns very quickly . He enjoys his 3 daily walks . He accepts guests in the house , but doesn ' t solicit attention from them . He travels very well on long car journeys ( apart from the projectile diarrhoea on the 300 mile journey for my mother ' s funeral - not his fault at all ). He quickly learnt who is the soft touch in the house , and like his predecessor , wakes my partner up in the morning rather than me ( by sitting on his head , subtle he is not ), although he will tell me when he wants me to go to bed , if I sit up late . He is happy with his family and we are very happy with him .
