Mad Potters
Organization
The Mad Potters Organization is open to
students who have taken or are currently taking at
least one ceramics course at Augusta University.
This is a chance for students to further their
ceramics experience at the University.
Each semester, the MPO holds a pottery and
ceramic sale on the lawn outside the Jaguar
Student Activities Center on the Summerville
campus. Proceeds from these events help fund
trips to the National Council on Education for
the Ceramics Arts (NCECA) where students
learn about contemporary ceramic art by
meeting artists, seeing their art, and talking
with representatives from graduate and summer
programs.
