We will definitely be attending the next ETS event at Taylorsville this October 2018. We are also looking for other ETS events in the area.

I was riding a six year old horse that I’ve done very little obstacle work with so all the obstacles were a challenge. Even ones that I thought were going to be easy were not, but it definitely motivated me to go home and start practicing for the next event.

I had a great time. I really liked that the obstacles were on the trail and spaced enough distance apart that we had to do some riding to get to the next challenge. The event was well organized and everyone was having a great time. The obstacles were well thought out and because of the different levels you can choose for each obstacle they were appropriate for beginners to advanced riders.

The registration table was right up front in the day park area of Taylorsville Lake State Park, when we signed up there wasn’t a line or any wait. We were given the instructions with descriptions of each obstacle and differences between each level. Everyone was ready to help or answer questions and the judges were fair in their ratings.

I would recommend ETS to others and I have. We will be bringing some new riders with us to the next event this October at Taylorsville Lake State Park in Taylorsville, KY. We are also looking for other ETS event in the area.

I really think that obstacle type training creates a bond with you and your horse and the ETS events are the motivation I need to get out and train.

Eric and Jena spend as much time on the trail as possible
