Ashley has faced discrimination from many people. Some of the parents of Ashley's friends have treated Ashley differently during parties because of her condition. She was given different items like disposable bottles or plates. However Ashley has been supported by her family and her friends throughout her tough childhood. These days Ashley is very healthy and is in highschool.
