eet Pete Oswald – an L.A.
based artist, Production De-
signer, kid lit author and il-
lustrator. There is not much
Pete can’t do. With a back-
ground in fine art and
boundless creativity, Pete has
helped to uplift many of the
most successful animated franchises.
As a character designer and con-
cept artist, Pete has worked on Mada-
gascar: Escape 2 Africa, Cloudy with a
Chance of Meatballs 1 & 2; Hotel Transyl-
vania; and Oscar ® Nominated ParaNor-
man. Pete also has written and
illustrated children’s books and in
2017 will be releasing his first original
books, Mingo the Flamingo and The Bad
Seed. From his most recent project as
Production Designer for the block-
buster film, The Angry Birds Movie, Pete
was able to squeeze in some time to
design the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Venice gala “brand” and invitations.
Pete has been a supporter and friend
of the Club for many years, and we
are so honored that he shared his tal-
ent with us.
