CLUB WEEK
Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice
Kick off the start of aca-
demic year with a visit to
the BGCV to meet the
staff, tour our building,
and learn about Fall pro-
grams. We’ll even serve
dinner and frozen yogurt.
Fall
Childhood obesity is a
growing problem, and
BGCV is working hard to
help reverse the trend
with programs that pro-
mote physical activity
and nutrition education.
GOT Talent is a quarterly
series of talent shows
and open mic events at
the Club. They provide
opportunities for Club
members who are partic-
ipating in our Fine and
Performing Art programs
to showcase their tal-
ents. Join us for inspiring
performances by Club
members, as well as sur-
prise performances and
lectures by guest artists,
dancers, and musicians.
Year-round
Corporations and other
groups who are looking
for an opportunity to give
back to their community
by completing a “Day of
Service” are welcome
over the Summer. Work
hands on with our kids at
a beach clean-up, build
out a Summer field day,
or joining the teens for a
trust and leadership high
ropes challenge. With no
set model for the day, we
work with you to organ-
ize a day that best fits
the parameters of your
group while fulling a
Club need. Summer
educational accomplish-
ments, scholarships, and
highlights of the Club’s
