FOODIE FINDS : THE POLITE PIG

Can you smell that smoky aroma wafting through the air as you walk through Disney Springs ’ Town Center ? You can thank The Polite Pig for that tickle in your nose and growl in your stomach . If you ’ re wondering if the food tastes as good as it smells , just look at the lineup of folks queuing outside and around the side of the building . Yes , it ’ s that popular .
So grab a bib , pull up a chair , and let ’ s dive into some seriously hearty and delicious wood-fired grub .

Low & Slow Brisket Sandwich ( prime brisket , pimento cheese , Porter BBQ , pickled jalapeños and onion straws served with a pickle spear )
You ’ re going to need more than a few napkins for this mighty smoked brisket sandwich . And it ’ s worth every messy bite . Inside the bun , you ’ ll find a generous pile of The Polite Pig ’ s thick-cut signature slowcooked brisket topped with crispy fried onions and pickled jalapeños . It ’ s the perfect sandwich for the hungry park-goer .
Baby Back Ribs ( Polite rub baby back ribs with Layla ’ s sweet BBQ sauce )
If you ’ re at Disney Springs and in the mood for ribs , The Polite Pig is a must . These ribs are smoked to perfection . The meat is tender and falls away from the bone , and the sauce isn ’ t overly sweet . Definitely give these bad boys a try next time you ’ re hankering for a finger-licking meal .
Mac and Cheese ( with aged cheddar and breadcrumbs )
This mac and cheese is my favorite item from The Polite Pig . Mac and cheese needs to be just the right amount of creamy while still having a nice cheesy pull , and this dish delivered . The aged cheddar adds that sharp edge to the flavor , elevating it beyond your typical mac and cheese .
