I used to dream of kaiju — godzillas , mothras , what have you — trampling the streets of my hometown . Ever since I first saw a light-up Elliott the dragon floating down Main Street , U . S . A ., I have been a fan of big boys . Proper chonks . Creations of inadvisable size . Today we ’ re weighing in on something similar : the enormous parade floats of Walt Disney World and Disneyland .
