HEY HOWDY In 2023 , Disney Cruise Line introduced Pixar Day at Sea on the Disney Fantasy during select winter sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean , following the popularity of other themed itineraries like Marvel Day at Sea , Star Wars Day at Sea , Halloween on the High Seas , and Very Merrytime cruises .
Our seven-night sailing included three days at sea , the second of which was the official Pixar Day at Sea , with most activities on board revolving around the theme . There was also a higher-than-usual ratio of Pixar content throughout the cruise , with trivia , movies , character greetings , and photo opportunities most days , and Mickey and Minnie hosted greetings in Luxo Ballinspired DisneyBounds .
Disney also offered a totally unprecedented activity on the other sea days : a special Hey Howdy Breakfast in Animator ’ s Palate . We had to reserve a time for this on the Disney Cruise Line app in advance , but Disney included it in the cost of the cruise . The breakfast featured Woody , Jessie , and Bullseye performing a dance routine with a singing cowboy and cowgirl who popped up every 15 or 20 minutes throughout the meal with some fun sing-alongs . The Table-Service breakfast included standard menu items on the ship as well as special themed meals for adults and kids ; we tried the Biscuit Express and The Roundup Gang Hash , along with some sides of fruit and pastries .

FUN FACT The yellow ball with a red star and a blue stripe , known as the Pixar Ball or Luxo Ball , first appeared in the short ,
