Tokyo DisneySea is located across from Tokyo Disneyland at Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan — and it is a Disney Park you won ’ t find anywhere else in the world .

As the name implies , there are heavy sea themes throughout the park . Tokyo DisneySea uses this to its advantage to create some of the most unique shows , attractions , and experiences at any theme park in the world .
ENTERTAINMENT The centerpiece of Tokyo DisneySea is Mount Prometheus , the erupting volcano that houses one of the best attractions in the park — Journey to the Center of the Earth . In front of that masterpiece is Mediterranean Harbor , which , as the name implies , is a harbor full of water .
Unlike other Disney Parks around the world , Tokyo DisneySea doesn ’ t have traditional parades . Instead , a variety of year-round shows play out in the Mediterranean Harbor .
These shows utilize the harbor to its fullest , with performances playing out on floating barges . In addition , Mickey and friends dance their hearts out on three different stages scattered throughout the harbor .
The best spot for any harbor show is almost always Mickey Square , which is directly in the middle when you walk into the Mediterranean Harbor . This is also the place where spots fill up instantly due to the popularity and excellent vantage point for photos . The other two stages are over at Lido Isle ( on the left side of the harbor ) and in front of Zambini Brothers ’ Ristorante ( on the right side of the harbor ).
Seasonal Shows Each season , the park hosts a different limited-time show in the harbor , along with any permanent shows . That means the harbor is never short on entertainment ( don ’ t worry , there ’ s entertainment in other parts of the park , too ). Each of these shows matches the theme of whatever the current event is at the park .
In spring , it ’ ll naturally be a spring-themed show . In previous years , it ’ s been Usapiyo , which are hybrid chicks hatching out of eggs . ( It ’ s as strange as it sounds ). In the fall , you ’ ll see Disney Villains glide across the water on over-the-top floats . During the Christmas season , Santa visits the park aboard a gigantic barge with Mickey and Minnie .
