Disney ’ s All-Star Movies was the first to finish room renovations , which include a queen-size bed , Murphy bed , and a contemporary look to the room features . All-Star Sports is expected to undergo the same renovations ; however , it is difficult to know exactly what is happening since the resort has been closed since last year .
PLAY BALL ! Surfboard Bay Pool and Grand Slam Pool are perfect for cooling off . They may not have a slide , but you ’ ll have plenty of fun splashing around . Joggers will appreciate the mile-long , scenic running path that connects Disney ’ s All-Star Sports , Music , and Movies Resorts .
At the center of the Touchdown ! section of the resort is a fantastic football field featuring a large Mickey head at mid-field . This wide-open area is the perfect place to toss your own football with your kids or friends .
FUN FOR NON-SPORTS FANS ? No need for long faces if athletics aren ’ t your thing ; there are enough Disney touches to make this resort feel more whimsical than seriously sporty . One of the best benefits of staying at Sports is that it is usually the least expensive Walt Disney World Resort room . Saving is always a good thing . Plus , it ’ s within walking distance to All-Star Music and
Movies , so you can always visit those as well .
A SPORTS LOVER ’ S DREAM All-Star Sports is a great place to stay for the sports fan in your life . Your younger athletes will get a kick out of it , and your older ones will feel like a kid at heart . And as a Value Resort , your bank account will appreciate it too .
