No two meals are alike at Whispering Canyon , and there ’ s no guarantee that some or any of these will occur during your meal , but here ’ s an idea of some of the classic Whispering Canyon gags to help set the tone if you ’ ve never experienced it .
KETCHUP : If you ask for ketchup , expect quite the commotion in the restaurant as your server , and every table in the vicinity , will rush to put as many bottles of ketchup on your table as possible — and when another table asks for the ketchup , you ’ ll have a lot of bottles to move . A new twist on this ketchup gag is to have your server rain ketchup packets down onto your table — the spirit is the same , but it helps guests keep their distance from nearby tables .
BIRTHDAY FUN : Is someone at your table wearing a “ Happy Birthday ” or “ I ’ m Celebrating ” button ? Fair warning : They will probably get a lot of attention from your server . Having the table sing you “ Happy Birthday ” backward is always good for a laugh , or maybe you ’ ll have a special birthday cupcake brought to the table with much fanfare only to be whisked away before you can enjoy a single bite . This is the kind of birthday reception you can expect at Whispering Canyon .
DIRECTIONS TO THE RESTROOM : The first time I asked a server for directions to the restroom , they very happily presented me with this “ FastPass .” Time will tell if this joke gets updated with Genie + and Lightning Lane .

DROPPED CUTLERY : Don ’ t worry if you drop your fork ; the staff will gladly replace it for you . They just might also bring you a giant novelty fork to go along with it .
REFILLS : Depending on the mood of your server and how you phrase your request , a simple refill can become a chance for hilarity . I ’ ve seen tiny little cups with enormously long straws or absolutely huge refill glasses jugs with tiny straws . Sometimes your server will fill your glass precariously full , but sometimes they will pour a little splash into your cup and hover nearby to continually refill the drink , one sip at a time . There ’ s lots of good material here for twists and variations , but order carefully ; this one is ripe for some chaos .
These examples really just scratch the surface of what can happen at the restaurant . Your meal is sure to be a unique experience .
