“ Hurry Home ” took advantage of the World of Color effects , including the colorful fountains that shot up to 200 feet into the air and light effects along the structures of Pixar Pier . Fun fact : The music featured in the song was originally composed for the 2016 opening ceremony of Shanghai Disney .
This show was one of the most beloved parts of the Disneyland Lunar New Year and should not be missed . When Lunar New Year returns , grab a FastPass for the World of Color show so you can get good seats or consider enjoying a Dining Package or Dessert Party to guarantee your spot .

peach blossoms , golden flowers , and banners bearing holiday wishes .
The Lucky Wishing Wall was also located in the Paradise Gardens ; it has been a place for guests of all ages to add their own special messages of hope , health , and happiness for the upcoming year under the strings of ornamental lanterns . In previous Lunar New Year festivals , the Lucky Wishing Wall hosted performances from authentic Chinese , Korean , and Vietnamese dancers and musicians in Paradise Gardens Park throughout the day .
Disney has historically included plenty to do for kids with a variety of crafts offered in front of The Little
Mermaid ~ Ariel ’ s Undersea Adventure , including Chinese calligraphy , a dragon ’ s pearl coloring craft , and face painting .
I have also found plenty of commemorative merchandise inspired by different cultures of East Asia . Some of my favorites include spirit jerseys , T-shirts , Minnie Mouse ears , and pins .
Whether you come for the marketplace food booths , the themed entertainment , or the fabulous merchandise , you ’ re sure to have a wonderful time at the next Disneyland Lunar New Year celebration in California Adventure . I hope to see it return to Disneyland soon … if only I could add that to the Lucky Wishing Wall !
