Some of Disney’s restaurants are very popular and can be hard to book if you don’t try at
the beginning, or at least early, in your booking window. (If you are staying in a
Disney-owned resort, once 180 days before your arrival rolls around, you can book not just
that day but also the next ten, which makes the hardest to get a little easier if you aim them
for later in your trip.)
They can be especially hard to book during periods Disney offers its “Free Dining”
promotion—recently this deal has been announced in April or May, and covered some of
August, most of September, bits of October, and some of November and December.
Because the deal is not worth much if you can’t get pleasing reservations, tables book quite
early for those dates.
