Photo by Lisa Cameron 2. Set the Scene I like to serve my tea offerings buffet style. Make your display eye catching and easily accessible to your guests. Decorate the table with fresh flowers. You could also include a menu to let your guests know what delicious goodies they’ll be having. Set up a table just for the tea. Label each pot. Include tea strainers, cream, sugar and lemon at the station. Cover your tables with a pretty tablecloth and maybe a little bit of lace. For each place setting use a doily as a place mat and place the tea cup right on top. If your party includes kids, consider using the real tea cups (or use plastic if you wish). They will feel special and like a grown up. Round out your party space with vase of fresh flowers. Photo by Lisa Cameron
