Disney World is never uncrowded, and never cheap. But some times of the year, it is much more crowded than others, and some times of the year much more expensive. (By the way—you will see people who claim that low prices means low crowds. Not true. There are many high-crowd but low-priced Disney World weeks in later summer, and a few low-crowd but high- priced weeks scattered in the winter and spring). First timers will find low-crowd and low-priced weeks most of the time (but see exceptions below!!) from September until mid-December, and from the week after New Year’s week until the Thursday before Presidents’ Day.
