through the parks over the weekend. Really there is no bad time to visit WDW in
January.
Dave: Interesting thought, Carl! But I think people who want a Disney World
Christmas should wait until early December, when they can see Mickey’s Very
Merry Christmas Party, the Candlelight Processional, and other Christmas
shows that aren’t on in early January, with much lower crowds and prices. The
best January dates are after Martin Luther King Day (the 19th in 2015), and see
some of the lowest crowds and prices of the year.
Stephanie: February is an interesting month - lots of folks fleeing the snow in the
north, and a few holidays draw some crowds - so what weeks are ideal to visit?

Dave: I like the week of the 22nd best, and the week of the 1st next best. Early
February is low-crowd and low price, but often sees ride closures. Late February
see fewer rides closed, low crowds, but higher prices. In between - in 2015
from the 12th through the 22nd - you see higher prices and high crowds from a
dance competition, President’s Day and a RunDisney program. All this is even

the trade off between lower prices early or fewer ride closures late. Plus later has
better weather!
Carl: As Dave said, there’s kind of a double witching hour in February.
Presidents Day and Mardi Gras are the 16th and 17th. The good news is that
combination really concentrates the crowds and it’s
