into different rooms that reflect the life and activities of our paleontologists. There is also
a super cool airstream trailer attached to the building. This is a really neat corner of the
restaurant with nice booths and bit more privacy if you can snag a table, but it is also one
of the more popular spots to grab a seat.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Restaurantosaurus is one of a growing number of Quick Service eateries at WDW to
accept the new Mobile Order and Pay system; which is a great way to help beat the lines.
For those who don’t know, Mobile Order and Pay lets you use the My Disney Experience
app on your smartphone to pre-order your meals. When you get to the restaurant, you use
the app to let the staff know that your party has arrived and then walk over to the
designated Mobile Order pickup counter and collect your meal. Take advantage of this
system if you can; it really helps maximize your time in the parks. Restaurantosaurus is also
open later into the evening than most other eateries in Animal Kingdom, which is ideal if
you need to fuel up after Rivers of Light. Restaurantosaurus accepts some Disney Dining
Plans.
THE FOOD
The menu is pretty straightforward for a QSR but that doesn’t mean it won’t hit the spot.
There’s the usual selection of Mickey Check and kids meal options, as well as some lighter
fare like the Roasted Chicken Salad (iceberg and Spring Mix Lettuce topped with Tomatoes,
Cucumbers, Hard-boiled Egg, and Roasted Chicken tossed with Ranch Dressing), tasty
vegetarian options including the Vegetarian Black Bean Burger (Spicy
Southwestern-flavored Patty on a Toasted Bun with Cheddar and House-made Avocado
Spread served with Southwest Salad and French Fries), plus your standard burgers, chicken
nuggets, hot dogs, and fries.
