Let’s check it out.
Family Suites are basically two connecting hotel rooms that have been reconfigured into a
“suite”. The basic differences between a Family Suite and two stand hotel rooms are:
The beds – Standard rooms have 2 full size or 1 king bed. Family Suites have 1 queen
bed, and a mix of sleeper sofas and chairs.
Occupancy – Two Standard rooms can sleep up to 8. Family Suites sleep up to 6.
Dining – Standard rooms have a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Family Suites have a
kitchenette area with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.
Sitting area – Standard rooms have a small table and 2 chairs in each room. Family
Suites have a “living room” with a couch, and a easy chair.
Room – Family Suites seem a lot roomier because of the open space but in actuality
the room size is exactly the same as two Standard rooms.
Price – Typically Family Suites are a little more expensive than 2 Standard rooms.
